Life requires a gentle balance of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well being. In the demands of today’s hyper-connected and hyper-active society it can be difficult to find that balance or even know where to start looking for answers. We may find ourselves at a transitionary point in our lives where we realize that something needs to change.
My name is Madison Hollis (she/her/hers) and I became a therapist to help others find their balance. Whether you are coping with a diagnosis or have issues in your life that you wish to tackle, I would be honored to work with you on your journey of healing. In our work together, we are equals and there are no secrets that I know to unlocking your truest potential that you don’t already possess. In therapy, I am direct and light-hearted, while maintaining a safe space for collaboration, honesty, and transparency. I often urge clients to broaden their comfort zones so that they may experience growth in all areas of their lives.
I have experience working with many of life’s most challenging issues, including trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar, PTSD, family dysfunction, anger management, and life transitions. I am a sex- positive therapist and have experience in working with both monogamous and non-monogamous relationships. I operate from a humanistic approach, meaning that I believe the way you see the world is unique and plays a large role in the way that you heal and grow - and ultimately find the balance that you seek. I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques in session to help guide the healing process. Together we will decide what works best for you!
