Meg Mattingly, MA is an LPC Intern supervised by Jennifer Buffalo, LPC-S, LMFT at Luminary Counseling, PLLC. She received a BS in Recreation, Parks & Tourism Sciences from Texas A&M, and completed a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the Seminary of the Southwest (CACREP). Her diverse background and work geared towards advocacy, the outdoors, and healing has allowed her to glean a vast array of skills and insight. This, along with her own passions have proven to be beneficial in her work as a therapist.
Meg believes in the process of healing and the many forms that can take for individuals. The therapeutic relationship is a unique and special one that can foster creativity and growth in and out of session. Her focus is centered around identity & belonging, sexuality, religious trauma, spirituality, relationships & dating, and ecotherapy. Meg gets excited in helping people find connection in their lives, whether that be with themselves, their partners, nature, spiritual practices, creative expression and beyond. She celebrates and values the different experiences and worldviews her clients come with and desires to create safety through the relationship.
