Christina Latimer (She/Her)

MS, LPC
EMDR Trained
Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Capella University and an Air Force Veteran with 20 years of service. I am passionate about helping others, and that passion is at the heart of my counseling career. In my work, I provide a judgment-free, supportive space for my clients to explore areas of personal growth. I believe in the power and healing that can occur within the therapeutic relationship and environment, allowing clients to show up as their unique selves.

My specialties are anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and change management within a diverse population of adults. Within these specialties, I strive to build a collaborative relationship of trust and respect between myself and my client and create individualized treatment plans based on therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).

In addition to being CBT, DBT, and EMDR trained, I am a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP). When I am not working, you can often find me watching football and cheering on my favorite teams, the Baltimore Ravens and Alabama Crimson Tide.
