Emily Heimberger (She/Her)
MA, LPC-Associate, NCC, Group Services Coordinator
Hey Y’all!
I’m Emily, an LPC-Associate under the supervision of Jennifer Buffalo, MA, LPC-S, LMFT. I believe that growth and healing happen through genuine connection. Therapy with me is an active, collaborative space where we engage in meaningful conversations that foster insight, self-awareness, and deeper alignment with who you are.
My approach is warm, personalized, and deeply engaged. I meet you where you are with authenticity and curiosity, drawing from a blend of modalities that honor your lived experience and individual needs, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, self-compassion, mindfulness, and somatic practices.
I especially enjoy working with young adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain, helping them make sense of their internal world and build a more grounded, authentic way of moving through life. I’m also passionate about supporting fellow helping professionals, recognizing the complexities that come with holding space for others.
If you’re looking for a space where you can show up as your full self, explore the layers of your story, and engage in deep, transformative work, let’s connect!

Why Did you Become a Therapist?
My own journey with mental health and experience with therapy opened my eyes to the profound power of a supportive, genuine connection. It was through these relationships that I began to heal and grow, which is why I approach therapy with the same relational mindset. I believe that a real, human connection is at the heart of meaningful change!
