Emily Heimberger, MA, LPC-Associate, NCC
$110 - $130 fee range
Hey y’all!
My name is Emily Heimberger (she/her/hers), and I am an LPC-Associate supervised by Jennifer Buffalo, MA, LPC-S, LMFT, NCC at Luminary Counseling, PLLC.
My counseling journey began during undergrad at Mississippi State University, where I played NCAA softball. Through my experiences as a collegiate athlete, I recognized the transformative power of meaningful relationships and mental health support. I developed a deep interest in helping others harness this power to embark on their own journey towards inner healing and wellness.
After receiving my B.S. in Biology, I pursued my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. During my graduate studies, I worked as a student counselor with clients of all ages in individual, couple, and group settings. I gained valuable experience supporting clients navigating a wide range of life experiences, challenges, and stressors.
While I enjoy working with all individuals, I am especially passionate about working with 20- and 30-somethings experiencing quarter-life crisis, anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity confusion. Young adulthood is a significant transition marked by changing roles and increased responsibilities, which often produces feelings of instability, fear, uncertainty, and betrayal. I am committed to supporting you during this time of exploration, reflection, and growth.
I pull from a plethora of evidence-based, culturally responsive, person-centered modalities to tailor treatment to your unique needs. Though technically eclectic, I often draw theoretical concepts and assumptions from CBT.
When I am not in the office, you can find me fishing, playing COD zombies or hanging out with my four-legged nephew (an adorable lab pup named Kobe). I am also a food and crochet enthusiast.
I believe every individual is deserving of a safe, affirming, liberatory space. I am committed to holding that space for you. Reach out today to schedule a free, 30-minute consultation to see if we might be a good fit.
I look forward to being a part of your journey!
