Andriana Duran (She/Her)
MA, LPC-Associate
Hi There!
My name is Andriana Duran (she/her) and I am an LPC-Associate supervised by Jennifer Buffalo, MA, LPC-S, LMFT, NCC at Luminary Counseling, PLLC. I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and from the University of North Texas with a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling.
I believe in providing a safe environment and building a strong and great relationship with all clients. Through my experience as a professional counselor, I have gained a strong understanding of anxiety, depression, PTSD, dissociation, and trauma related to mental health. Previously, I was working in a university mental health clinic, as well as for a non- profit organization that helps individuals relating to trauma and PTSD.
Most of my experience has focused on working with adults ranging in age from 18-65, but I welcome all age ranges into counseling. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with sexual assault or domestic violence issues, anxiety, depression, and those with general life concerns. In my practice I utilize a person-centered therapeutic approach while also incorporating CBT or a trauma focused structure, in order to connect with a range of people and mental health needs.
The difference between who you are and who you want to be is WHAT YOU DO. Together we can make a difference to better your mental health!
